Scrum Master SWAG

Want to show up to your teams with swagger? This Mastermind group fills the frustrating gap between landing the role and successfully stepping into it.

During our time together, you will:

  • Address the real-time issues you are facing with your teams
  • Break through the resistance and frustration you experience at your job so that you can make progress
  • Get help when there might not be any where you work.
  • Get support from people outside your company so you feel safe admitting your challenges
  • Gain new and different perspectives from other experienced SMs
  • Learn how to coach others and be coachable yourself
  • Have accountability when things get difficult and celebrate breakthroughs

Most of all: Get rid of Scrumposter Syndrome and fully step into the SM you know you are!

How does the Scrum Master SWAG group work?

  • We will form a Scrum of Scrums Team with up to 8 currently practicing Scrum Masters.
  • Each week, you bring your highest priority challenge to the team.
  • Using Vistage’s Executive Coaching group process as a model, the team will use active listening and ask clarifying questions to help you process your issue
  • The team will give you feedback and recommendations to help you address your challenge. You are free to use any and all suggestions.
  • We will use a Kanban Board to track our progress.

Why would I recommend working with Patty?

Patty is very knowledgeable, gave us real life applications for Scrum and Agile, and comes from a place of deep respect and care for self-organizing teams rather than adherence to a “methodology.” Patty is an excellent coach and asks meaningful and thought provoking questions, encourages to self-learn that lights up our bulb every time.

If you are a new Scrum master or even an experienced Scrum master looking to gain deeper insights and practices of Agile and Scrum, I would highly recommend Patty’s program!

Check out what others are saying…

I bounced around from Meetup to Meetup, getting certifications, looking for a silver bullet to my problems. But going through this experience gave me what I needed.

I also learned I needed to be vulnerable in order to establish trust within a group. I jumped off the cliff and opened up, and as an introvert this was not easy task. Once my wall started to crumble, so did others, and I noticed the dynamics of the group changing. By the end of the process, we all saw each other’s growth from where we started.

Patty is a rare kind of an Agile Coach. She deftly weaves her corporate experience into stories of Agility that she strategically used to coach leaders on Agile implementation. Patty is so passionate about Agile that it reflects in her work brilliantly. I recommend her without a second thought to any individual looking for a great Agile Coach.

Agile Project Manager

Patty did an incredible job of helping me understand what agile is and how an agile team works. It made agile come to life and greatly emphasized the value of adopting the process.

Her commitment to coaching us to learn for ourselves, rather than telling us what to do has made an incredible difference for me. I have started to do the same for my teams.
